NGV Limited Edition - Ai Weiwei Porcelain Peony

The National Gallery of Victoria presents a limited edition porcelain flower produced by Ai Weiwei.

Embracing the tradition of Chinese porcelain production, Chinese artist Ai Weiwei has produced a porcelain peony flower. The flower is a repeated motif in Ai’s work, from his celebrated Sunflower Seeds, 2010, to the installation for the NGV, Blossom 2015, composed of hundreds of delicate white flowers.
